Up close and personal, my images offer an intensely intimate view into a rarely seen world. By turning sunlight into chemical energy, plants are the life that make all other life possible. Both as a symbol of life, as well as some of the most spectacular examples of life, plants ofter serve as a basis for metaphor in my work. Fierce spines contrast with delicate flowers.
